Wearable Paintings were all the rage in the 18th Century little Cameos of loved ones and lost ones . So I thought I would reclaim a lost art .
I Started this blog after reading 'The Demon Prince of Momochi House' by Aya Shouoto. In this manga series lesser Yokai are drawn almost like stuffed animals that bounce around Momochi House and I thought wow I'd like to have a stuffed Yokai , (the radish in particular stood out to me) It was not a tusky old radish spirit like the Ghibli 'Spirited Away' but just a baby radish.
I have not yet watched or read any eastern or western stories where the Radish did much. And like the Ghibli Film the radish just there , being boring , doing nothing 'magically spectacular' to catch our attention, only just being there keeping us whole and safe in its own way. Which reinforced by belief that.....

even the smallest of spirits has a purpose.

event if we never seen it doesn't mean that it isn't there.
